Peer Review Policy
Submitted manuscripts will be pre-reviewed by the editors to determine whether they conform to the Journal of Education and Language Community Service submission guidelines. Manuscripts that meet the journal’s style and requirements will then proceed to the peer-review stage. Journal of Education and Language Community Service is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal involving multiple reviewers who are experts in relevant fields of education, language, and community service. The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance is made solely by the editors, based on reviewers’ comments and recommendations.
Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited. Journal of Education and Language Community Service uses Turnitin to screen manuscripts for plagiarism. Overlapping or similar text will be carefully examined, and authors are required to use proper quotations and citations wherever necessary. Only papers that strictly follow the journal’s guidelines and template will be considered for publication.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Manuscripts are first assessed by the editorial team (based on the field of specialization) and screened by the Managing Editor to ensure compliance with the journal’s criteria. Each manuscript will then be assigned to at least two reviewers selected according to their expertise and prior experience in reviewing academic manuscripts. The journal provides standardized review forms to ensure consistency in the evaluation process.
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on originality, clarity of presentation, relevance, and contribution to the field. Following the review process, the editorial board will make one of the following decisions:
- Accepted, as it is
- Accepted with Minor Revisions(authors must revise within a stipulated time)
- Accepted with Major Revisions(authors must revise within a stipulated time)
- Rejected(generally due to being outside the scope and aims, serious methodological flaws, or lack of clarity in presentation)
To uphold academic integrity, the editorial board will immediately reject manuscripts with plagiarism indications above 20% as detected by Turnitin. Prior to publication, authors are required to provide written confirmation of copyright transfer for papers accepted for publication in the journal.
